BOOT CAMP: Christianity
Diving deeper for the believer and none believer
Available spots
Service Description
This course is designed to dive into what does the gospel really mean? How should a Christian live in light of how their life has been changed? And we will also explore how the gospel is important for unbelievers and believers alike! If you are a believer it is so good to dive deeper into truths that we thought we knew so well, and really explore what they mean and how they continue to affect us. And if you are not a Christian, you are more than welcome to attend, learn, and ask as many questions as you would like! This will be a largely discussion based course with a couple assignments or things to do at home. Be prepared with questions, and we hope you leave with some answers, and things to think about and discuss with your family! All ages are welcome for this course and any assignments would be adjusted to the ability level of students, and I will do my best to teach in a way that is meaningful to all who are there, and share the truth we see in the Bible! The Plan: We will be using the book, ‘Boot Camp’ by Chad Meza, which is found on Amazon, as well as a separate question and answer booklet compiled and written by myself to drive discussion (can't be found on Amazon, but will be provided). The topics we will explore are: The Theology and doctrine of Salvation Who is Jesus? What is the Bible? Prayer The Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of Evangelism Who is the Holy Spirit? The Church Topics which are not covered in class will be discussed within the resources given. Objectives: The main objective of this course is to challenge the minds of Christians by diving deeper into truths they likely were aware of, and to present an in depth reason for our beliefs to any unbelievers who may be in attendance. And a close secondary objective is to be able to answer student’s questions on these topics. The plan to achieve these objectives is to largely encourage discussion, with a little bit of assignment work as well. If you have any questions about the course, please do not hesitate to contact Ben at, ben@elfaro.ca, or to contact the school directly see the contact details below!
