This course is designed to outline and teach the basics and Fundamentals of the Christian Faith. What do we believe, why do we believe it, and how does that affect the way we live? You are welcome to attend this course as believers to get a deeper understanding, and a clear outline of the Gospel and how it affects everyday life. And you are also more than welcome to come if you do not believe but are curious about what this Christian stuff is all about! We would love to welcome you! This will be a largely discussion based course with a couple assignments or things to do at home. Be prepared with questions, and we hope you leave with some answers, and things to think about and discuss with your family! All ages are welcome for this course and any assignments would be adjusted to the ability level of students, and I will do my best to teach in a way that is meaningful to all who are there, and share the truth we see in the Bible! The Plan: As previously mentioned, we want this to be a discussion based course so there could definitely be other things that come up as questions are asked. But these are the main points we want to cover: -Who is God? -Who are we, and what is sin? -Heaven and Hell, the Old Testament -‘The Rescue Plan’, who is Jesus? -The Response Objectives: The main objective of this course is to clearly display what it really means to be a Christian, whether increasing understanding of those who believe, or informing those who are curious. And a close secondary objective is to be able to answer student’s questions on these topics as well, and the plan is that this will largely be done through discussion, with a little bit of assignment work.
